Vacation reservations

User logs into a vacation-reservation server, specifies what is wanted (e.g., preferred temperatures, dates and budget).
Programme on that server communicates with Web services on servers operated by airlines, hotels, car rental companies, etc., checking availability, cost, etc.
Those servers may in turn communicate with other servers (e.g., for currency conversion, weather forecasts).
Programme on the first server receives and analyses the information, possibly makes more requests to other Web services, then provides summary to user.
