Scicos-RTAI
‘provides Linux RTAI specific blocks,
hard real time Comedi support and an automatic code generator
that build stand alone executable code from Scicos diagrams.’

- HART Toolbox:
Hardware Access in Real-Time. Toolbox
‘can be used to generate Scicos-blocks for hardware
that have a C/C++ interface. For use with RTAI; DAQ blocks are provided
for COMEDI.
For use with Scilab 4.1.2, Scicoslab 4.4 or Scilab 5.3.0.
As of 2011 Jan 17, latest version is 0.4.2 dated 2011 Jan 11.
- EPICS:
Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System, from Argonne
National Laboratory. Open-source, primarily for Linux.
As of 2011 Jan 17, latest release is R3.14.12, dated 2010 Nov 24.
Only
support for general-purpose USB devices is for National Instruments,
the same as for NI PCI-bus cards,
and is 3 years old.
- BioMOBIUS:

freely available to users for research purposes only’.
For Windows XP PRO SP3.
Supports ‘a wide range of generic hardware devices, for example,
TCP/IP, Serial, WDM camera devices, etc.’; I can't figure out
exactly what that includes.
