Under Debian 6 (Squeeze) 3 versions of Avidemux 2.5.4 are
installed:
- avidemux2_cli (command line)
- avidemux2_gtk (GTK+ GUI)
- avidemux2_qt4 (QT GUI)
A symlink in /etc/alternatives/ determines which one is invoked
by the avidemux
command.

Cutting
Brief instructions for cutting MPEG videos that don't have audio:
- Set dropdown to
to avoid time-consuming re-encoding.

move back and forth in the video.

beginning and end of a section to be cut. Make sure that the
end frame is an Intra frame (or keyframe),

or next keyframe.
