  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x (but sometimes fails, reporting a Java error)
  • Netscape Communicator 4.04 with JDK 1.1 SmartUpdate patch
  • Netscape Communicator 4.05 Preview Release 1 with support for Java AWT 1.1.5
  • Netscape Communicator 4.5, when available (not yet released)
• VRML viewer: SGI Cosmo Player 2.0 or higher (available from Cosmo and also included with Netscape Communicator 4.x).

Mac

• Operating system: MacOS 7.6.1, 8.0 or 8.1 (Power Mac)
• Web browser: Netscape Navigator 4.5 (not yet released)
• VRML viewer: SGI Cosmo Player 2.1 (available on the Macintosh as a pre-release download at the moment)

Unix

• Operating system: IRIX 6.2 (SGI)
• Web browser: JDK 1.1 Preview Release for Netscape Communicator 4.05 for IRIX 6.2
• VRML viewer: SGI Cosmo Player 1.0.2 for IRIX
