The lesser sciatic notch is located between the ischial spine and the ischial
tuberosity. The notch is made in to a foramen by the sacro-spinous ligament
and the sacro-tuberous ligament. The foramen allows passage of the tendon
and nerve of the obturator internus, pudendal nerve, and internal pudendal
vessels.
