Connecting from home

If you have a computer and a modem at home, you can use them to access your Medcor e-mail account, as well as browsing the World Wide Web, etc. You can use any Internet Service Provider (ISP), including the Dial-up Access Service (DAS) offered by the McGill Computing Centre. DAS accounts and communication software can be obtained from Room 200 in Burnside Hall. There is a charge for DAS usage beyond a monthly minimum.

If you use any ISP other than McGill's DAS, then for security reasons there will be some complications:
