Once you have logged in, you can use whatever commands are appropriate for the operating system on the remote computer, e.g., Unix commands:

• Change directory: cd
  • Change to subdirectory of current directory:
    cd subdir_name
  • Change to parent directory of current directory:
    cd ..
• Make a new directory: mkdir dir_name
• Directory listing: ls
• Delete (remove) a file: rm filename
• Change password: passwd
• Log out: logout
