This information dates from 2001.
Modulef was originally developed at INRIA in France with input from other contributors.
Linear and nonlinear, shells and bricks, contact. Fortran. 3-D thin-shell element doesn't include mass. Nonlinear analysis only for a few element types. Last release 1999.
Since 1999 Modulef has been distributed in source form at no cost. See local copy of original documentation and documentation for nonlinear module (both restricted access).
This information is extremely incomplete.
elasct
- basically just calls thelct
thelct
- calculation of element matrices
for both thermal and elastic problems. Does some stuff
for a thermo-elastic problem (ntherc
) then
common stuff - calls therm1
for both thermal and elastic
(and Maxwell) problems then calls either therc2
or elasc2
.
therm1
- creates 'first' matrices of
the TAE data structure by a first call to the elements
in the library, for thermal, elastic & Maxwell
(i.e., 'initializes characteristics of matrices')
thmass
- thermal
elmass
- elastic
mamass
- Maxwell
thraid
- thermal
elraid
- elastic: calls
routines for calculating element
stiffness matrices for different
element types, e.g., ercqfa
maraid
- Maxwell
thsecm
- thermal
elsecm
- elastic
masecm
- Maxwell
thcntr
- thermal
elcntr
- elastic
therc2
- for thermal problems
elasc2
- for elastic problems. Does
something with omega
using
remctd
? Then makes second calls to routines
for different element types to actually calculate element
matrices.

zaldy3
- look for a table by name
chaint
imaldy
- prints out directory of current tables in M
